Hi! Ms. Coughlin here! I have something really cool to share with you! I met with a tech. support person in the district (the amazing Rhonda Luetje!) this morning and she taught the third grade teachers how to use an app called Explain Everything. She gave us some very practical ways to use this app with our students in the classroom and I decided to put this into action this morning with subtracting across zero.
We managed to figure out how to upload our video to YouTube and now we can embed that link to our blog. Check out this video (with audio) of Charlie showing us how to subtract across zero! We have been reading Because of Winn Dixie. It has been a really fun book. Winn Dixie, the dog, has a really weird talent. He needs to stay near his owner all the time (India Opal Buloni). She works at Gertrude's Pets. Right now, we have been adding character traits about all the characters. We only need one more character.
We have 2 butterflies Mrs. Petrsino's
butterflly had died so we gave our butterfly to her classroom and her classroom said that we couid see it again. we are learning about noun's in
our classroom and we also we watched a brain pop and a normal noun video about noun's to lear more about it and work more hard on noun's. a name is a proper noun We are learning about the life cycle of plants and flowers in our classroom.
we watched a brain pop to help us learn more about it. we like learning about plant's in our classroom because plant;s are important to our world. |
